Leading Consumer Healthcare App iTriage Launches Symptom-to-Provider™ Capability in Mexico
Denver, CO, U.S.A. (PRWEB) October 19, 2011
iTriage® announced today the addition of Mexican Hospitals with emergency services listings within its free consumer mobile healthcare application. This addition enables iTriage users in Mexico to use the app’s Symptom-to-Provider pathway to access nearby emergency services.
iTriage’s ground-breaking Symptom-to-Provider pathway offers iTriage users a way to answer the two most common heath care questions:
What could be wrong?
Where should I go for treatment?
iTriage users will now have access to 465 hospital listings in Mexico. These new listings include public and private hospitals that have emergency services. In the future, iTriage plans to expand the number of listings in Mexico. A Spanish version of the application is also on our roadmap.
iTriage users in Mexico have enthusiastically adopted iTriage for its “always with you and on-demand” symptom checking. Now, users will have the added benefit of being directed to the appropriate hospital in Mexico.
“Today, we are taking an important step toward our vision of helping people around the world make better healthcare decisions,” said Peter Hudson, MD, Chief Executive Officer of iTriage. “In addition, the millions of iTriage users we have in more than 80 countries who travel to Mexico can quickly be directed to the closest hospital.”
Consumers can download the free iTriage application via iTunes® App store or Android™ Market for use on their iPhone®, iPod touch®, or Android mobile devices.
